Solihull BE90 & BE100 | Eventing Review with Hyde Lodge Horses

The Hyde Lodge team had a fantastic day out at Solihull Riding Club, with 5⭐️ British eventer Alex Tordoff, Teagan, and Jess taking two of our talented young horses, Monkey and Oli, to compete in the BE90 and BE100 classes.

Both horses are owned by Jane & Emma Turner and are progressing brilliantly as they climb the levels.

Monkey – BE90

Monkey produced her best result to date, finishing on her dressage mark of 32 to secure an impressive 9th place. This was a huge milestone in her development and shows the consistency and talent she’s beginning to show in all three phases.

Oli – BE100

Oli also delivered a really pleasing performance, finishing on a score of 37 to take 10th place in the BE100. He showed great promise across all three phases, confirming the exciting future he has ahead.

Reflections from Alex

Alex was really happy with both horses, noting how much progress they’ve made and how encouraging it is to see them finishing so strongly at this stage of their production. Days like this underline the importance of patience, training, and giving young horses the right experiences as they work their way up the levels.
