Following a successful career in Pony Club, Juniors, Young Riders and passing his A test, I was keen to employ the services of Alex for the Burghley Branch of the Pony Club. Alex had come up through Pony Club and so understood the requirements needed of an instructor to cover a wide range of ages and abilities. We were not disappointed! Alex has a natural ability to teach, from four year olds on the lead rein to 20 year olds doing open eventing. His ability to communicate his tremendous knowledge thoroughly engages all those he teaches.Within a year we soon promoted Alex from general training sessions to being coach and manager of our eventing and show jumping teams. These teams have achieved huge success at Inter Branch, Area and National level. The sessions he teaches for us are extremely popular and are often over subscribed, due to the high regard he is held by members and parents alike.
