A learning day for JACK RANDALL in the CCI-S 3*

This weekend we headed to the Barefoot Retreats-sponsored Burnham Market International, where JACK RANDALL competed in the CCI-S 3* under the expert guidance of Alex Tordoff.

It wasn’t our tidiest result, but it was full of takeaways. JACK started with a 38.9 dressage, a little off his usual pace, but still showing moments of real quality. Unfortunately, 16 penalties in show jumping knocked us back on the leaderboard. He redeemed himself with a clear cross country, but we picked up 12.0 time penalties, finishing on a total of 66.9, placing 55th.

  • Final Score: 66.9

While not the result we were hoping for, it was a valuable round—especially in the XC phase, where JACK showed a lot of heart. This is all part of the process with a young horse, and we’re happy to see him gaining experience and confidence at this level.
