Big smiles all round for Team Hyde Lodge after a brilliant run from Atty, who absolutely stepped up to the plate in the Novice class this weekend, coming home with a 2nd place finish and a cracking double clear in both show jumping and cross-country.

This was a proper performance from a horse who is really starting to come into their own. Atty felt focused, confident, and totally up for the job from start to finish. He put in a super tidy test to score a 31.0 in the dressage, and then backed it up with faultless jumping across both phases. He ate up the cross-country like a pro—ears pricked, brave, and quick across the ground.

What’s even more exciting is that there’s still more to come. Atty is learning with every run, and this result is a great reminder of just how much potential he has. It’s never just about the rosettes for us—seeing a horse grow in confidence and enjoy their work is the real win.
