We’re a dedicated eventing and training yard based in rural Leicestershire, run by rider and coach Alex Tordoff. Since starting out in 2017, we’ve built a reputation for producing quality horses, offering straightforward coaching, and helping riders at every level feel confident and supported.

Horse Acquisitions
At Hyde Lodge, we specialise in matching riders with their ideal equine partners. Our acquisition service simplifies the often complex process of finding, trying, and purchasing horses. With a free, non-committal online consultation, we begin by understanding your specific needs and preferences. Leveraging our extensive network and expertise, we guide you through every step, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Coaching & Training
Our bespoke coaching programs are designed to develop riders of all levels, from novices to seasoned competitors. Under the guidance of Alex Tordoff and our experienced team, we offer personalised training that focuses on achieving your individual goals. Our comprehensive approach ensures that both horse and rider reach their full potential
World-Class Facilities
Hyde Lodge is equipped with top-class facilities, including a Turfloat all-weather arena, international-standard show jumps, and full-size dressage rings available for hire. Recent additions include a new stable block, wash-down and tack-up areas, a tack and feed room, and a lorry park with on-site hook-up.
