Thoresby Park Spring Carnival Recap

We’ve kicked off the 2025 eventing season in style at the Thoresby Park International Eventing Spring Carnival, and what a fantastic few days it’s been! Two of our top horses, COOL JACK and JACK RANDALL, put in impressive performances under the expert guidance of Alex Tordoff, laying down a strong early marker for the year ahead.

COOL JACK

COOL JACK stepped up to the plate in the competitive 4* class, delivering a solid dressage test and jumping a perfect clear in both show jumping and cross country. Just 12.8 time penalties on the XC kept him from a top-10 finish, but a 14th place in a field of world-class horses is a great result. He’s feeling fit and focused, and we’re excited to see how he progresses through the season.

JACK Randall

In the 3* class, JACK RANDALL impressed with a fluid dressage test and a faultless performance in both jumping phases. A few XC time penalties edged him out of a higher placing, but his 32nd place finish still earned valuable points. It’s a strong run for early in the season, and we’re pleased with how he’s developing.
